black jack is a game that somehow reminds me of a roller coaster. It’s a game that begins slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you build up your bankroll, you feel as though you are making moves to the top of the coaster and then when you are not expecting it, the bottom collapses.
Blackjack is so akin to a wild ride the similarities are creepy. As with the popular amusement park experience, your blackjack game will peak and things will appear to be going well for a while before it bottoms out yet again. You have to be a blackjack player that shall be able to readjust to the ups and downs of the game mainly because the game of black jack is awash with them.
If you like the small coaster, a coaster that cannot go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the coaster ride is with a bigger bet, then jump on for the coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high roller will love the view from the monster roller coaster because he or she is not considering the drop as they rush headlong to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few bettors adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that’s a lovely feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to toss and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.
If you do not, you might not find it easy to recollect how much you enjoyed the good life while your profit was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, an amazing ride and your head in the sky. As you are reminiscing on "what ifs", you won’t always remember how "high up" you went but you will quickly remember that disastrous drop as clear as day.
