I have wagered on countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of funds at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it almost impossible to beat the game.
I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get loaded with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that 21 seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a few years ago with $750 after 20 minutes using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10
Wager $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 wager
Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s difficult to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
